The Potomac Yard Arlington Civic Association (PYACA) was established on September 29, 2025 to represent and support residents in one of Arlington County’s newest and fastest-growing neighborhoods.
Much of Potomac Yard’s modern development began after approval of the Phased Development Site Plan (PDSP) in 2000, and the neighborhood continues to evolve as part of the National Landing area.
As a nonprofit, nonpartisan, volunteer-led civic organization, PYACA exists to ensure residents have a clear channel for communication, advocacy, and participation in community matters. Regular membership is open to individuals 18 or older who reside in Potomac Yard and are not active members of another Arlington civic association. Business owners and non-resident property owners may be eligible for non-voting associate membership.

The mission of the Potomac Yard Arlington Civic Association is to promote the common interests, well-being, and quality of life of residents within Potomac Yard by serving as a forum for community engagement, advocating for neighborhood priorities, strengthening communication between residents and local government, and participating in public processes that shape the future of our community.
